The Royal Academy of Dance (RAD) Examinations are a series of classical ballet examinations developed by the Royal Academy of Dance, with 250,000 candidates taking them each year.
The RAD's teaching philosophy is to develop children's coordination, musicality, and sense of community from the age of five, and to change them implicitly, with all dance music performed by the London Symphony Orchestra. Grade 1 to Grade 8 are interconnected. Children can learn simple movements with the sense of achievement, and continue to challenge with higher difficulty at a higher level, the best solution to the "boring" and repetitive training for ballet beginners.
Continue the training of basic posture and the relaxation, stretching and flexible movement of each body part. Cultivate the rhythm awareness of music and start to complete a simple dance combination independently.

One of the main features of Chinese folk dances is the close combination of dancing and singing. This form of singing and dancing is free, vivid and lively, and can easily express more life content than pure dance, and it is easy to understand. Many Chinese folk dances use props cleverly, such as fans, handkerchiefs, long silks, tambourines, single drums, flower sticks, lanterns, flower umbrellas, etc. This greatly strengthens the artistic expression of the dance, making the dance movements more rich and colorful.

Classroom Dress Code
Ballet is a rigorous and elegant performing art, and classroom etiquette is also very particular. In addition to the regular salute ceremony before and after class, the standard ballet dress code is also a respect for teachers and classes. Our school will order custom made class uniforms from the renowned dancewear brand Sansha Dance. One set of class uniforms will include leotard, canvas split sole ballet slippers, and footed dance tights (tights are from another brand). All leotards for students of Grade I and above will be double layered.
